Follow our tips to protect your information

At SABB, our first priority is to protect your information and we do this by applying the latest and most effective security practices and controls. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance awareness, we bring to you tips to further secure your information. Make sure you follow these Security tips.

  • Never share your Passwords, PIN or OTPs with anyone. SABB employees never ask you for such information.
  • Do not allow anyone else to use your card, PIN, password or to have any security information related to your accounts even if asked by someone who appears to be a SABB staff.
  • Be careful of who is watching over your shoulder while entering your PIN at ATMs and Point of Sales.
  • Do not open attachments from unknown senders. Remember, a malware/ virus can harm your device and information.
  • Beware of phishing emails. They appear to come from authorized sources (while they are from attackers) to trick their targets to share confidential information.
  • Phishing/ spam emails generally contain malicious links/ attachments. Do not click/open any link or attachment or reply to email from an unknown source.
  • Never respond to suspicious emails or texts.
  • Do not use the same password for emails, social networking and online banking.
  • Be caution of phishing websites and find how to protect yourself against phishing attacks: (Visit Website Directly, Be Wary of Pop-Ups, Non-Secured Sites, Pay Close Attention to the URL or Web Address)
