Follow our tips to protect your information

At SABB we always put your banking information protection as our first priority, applying the most effective and latest information security practices and controls. We brought to you 8 tips to help you keep your information secure. Make sure you follow these tips, and remember, do not open the door for information security risks.

  • Don’t share your passwords, PIN or OTPs with anyone. SABB employees never ask you for this information.
  • Do not allow anyone else to use your card, PIN, password or to have any security information relating to your accounts even if it is asked by someone who appears to be SABB staff.
  • Never respond to any suspicious emails or texts.
  • Be careful of who’s watching over your shoulder while entering your PIN at ATMs and POINT OF SALEs.
  • Do not open attachments from unknown senders. Remember, a virus can destroy your PC.
  • Beware of phishing emails. They appear to come from SABB and ask you to provide your internet banking and other sensitive details. SABB will never send such emails.
  • Do not open any link or attachment or reply to an email from an unknown source (Phishing / Spam).
  • Do not use the same password for emails, social networking and SABBNet.
