SABB Honors the First Batch of TAQADAM Program

SABB will hold a ceremony honoring the first batch of the winning entrepreneurs of “TAQADAM” program in the presence of a number of senior officials from government and private entities and those interested in the sector of SME and emerging companies.

TAQADAM program, which is a collaboration between SABB and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), is an example of SABB's major initiatives in support of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and an aspirations model to support the SME sector in the Saudi economy. The program runs over a period of six months and provides a financial grant to about 20-30 teams of entrepreneurs who launch their startups, as well as providing guidance from international experts of the Entrepreneurship Center at KAUST. Promising projects will have the opportunity to receive additional seed financing from SABB. "TAQADAM" aims to generate great quality ideas, making a quantum leap in areas such as financial technology, digital solutions, industrial solutions, and food and water sustainability.

It is worth mentioning that SABB adopts “TAQADAM” program as it believes that it is fully responsible towards the community, and in continuation to its leading role in supporting the youth ambition and to contribute in the development of a promising generation to lead the country’s future in various fields of trade, industry, knowledge and technology.
