The SABB Shariah Advisory Committee meets regularly for review and appraisal and is comprised of the following members:

Sheikh Abdullah is a consultant of the Royal Diwan and is a member of the Senior Scholars Council.
Sheikh Abdullah is a member of Supreme Judiciary Committee of Saudi Arabia and is a member of the Islamic Fiqh Academy, Jeddah
Sheikh Abdullah is a former Deputy President of Makkah Courts
Sheikh Abdullah is a member of many Saudi banks' Shariah committees and a member of the Shariah Council of AAOFI and is an author of a number of books and researches on Islamic economy.
Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Mutlaq
Sheikh Abdullah is a consultant of the Royal Diwan and is a member of the Senior Scholars Council. Sheikh Abdullah is a Professor of Shariah, a member of the Permanent Committee for Research and Pronouncements (iftaa).
Sheikh Abdullah holds a PhD from Imam Mohammed Bin Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1404H and was formerly Chairman of the University's Comparative Fiqh Department.
Sheikh Abdullah is a member of many Saudi banks' Shariah committees and a member of the Shariah Council of AAOFI.
Sheikh Abdullah has supervised a number of PhD theses and has participated in the discussion of a number of MA and PhD dissertations. He has compiled a number of Shariah rulings (interpretive opinion) and is an author of a number of books and researches on Islamic economy.
Sheikh Dr. Muhammed A. Elgari Bin Eid
Dr. Elgari was formerly Professor of Islamic Economics at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was formerly Director of the Center for Research in Islamic Economics, in the same university. He is an Expert at the Islamic Jurisprudence Academy of The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Islamic Jurisprudence Academy of the Islamic World League and a member of the Shariah Council of AAOFI.
Dr. Elgari is chairman and a member of numerous Shariah Boards of Islamic Banks and Takaful companies worldwide. He has authored several books on Islamic finance and published articles on the subject both in Arabic and English. Dr. Elgari is also a frequent speaker in conferences worldwide.
Dr. Elgari is the recipient of the Islamic Development Bank prize in Islamic Banking and Finance for the year 1424H (2004). Dr. Elgari holds a PhD from the University of California, United States of America.
