New Service from SABB Credit Cards: Pay your utility bills the easy way with SADAD

As part of our continuous effort to provide new services to SABB Credit Cardholders, we’re pleased to announce the launch of a new service that allows you to pay utility bills using your SABB Credit Card.

 What is this service? And how does it benefit SABB Credit Cardholders?

This new service enables our customers to pay their utility bills through SADAD, using their SABB Credit Cards*. SABB Credit Cardholders will benefit from the free period for settling the due amounts on their cards, which goes up to 55 days. Additionally, they will be able to see all their financial transactions as well as their settled utility bills consolidated in the credit card monthly statement in an easy, convenient way.

 Which electronic channels are going to offer this service?

 

This service is available through SABBNET and SABB Direct. Soon however, this service will be enabled for use on SABB ATMs.

 

What are the steps required to settle bills on SABBNET?

SABB Credit Cardholders will have to go through the following simple steps to settle a bill via SABBNET:

 

  1. Log-in to your account in SABBNET.
  2. Click on “Payments” option located on the left-hand side of the page.
  3. Click on “Pre-Registered Bills” option located on the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Select your Credit Card from the drop down menu - “From account”.
  5. Select your bill from “Payee List” then click on “Pay Bill” button and follow the instructions

 

Note: If the bill you want to settle is not registered before then you will nee to add it by clicking on the “Add Payee” button located on the bottom of “Pre-Registered Bills” page.

 What are the steps required to settle bills on SABB Direct?

SABB Credit Cardholders will have to go through the following simple steps to settle a bill using SADAD:

  1. When logging-in to SABB Direct using the credit card number, the following is required:
    1. Call SABB Direct and press “2” for English.
    2. Enter the 16-digit credit card number and then enter the credit card PIN.
    3. Wait for the activation code, which will be sent to the mobile number linked to the card, and enter the code once you receive it.
    4. Press “1” for Credit Card Services.
    5. Press “1” for SADAD Utility Payments & Pre-Defined Payments.
    6. Press “1” for SADAD Biller or press “2” for Pre-Defined Bills & Credit Cards.
    7. Follow the rest of the instructions to settle the bill.

 

  1. In case of logging-in to SABB Direct using the account number, the following is required:
    1. Call SABB Direct and press “2” for English.
    2. Enter the first 9 digits of the account number and then enter your SABB Direct PIN.
    3. Wait for the activation code, which will be sent to the mobile number linked to the account, and enter the code once it is received.
    4. Press “1” for Transfers & Payments.
    5. Press “1” for SADAD Utility Payments & Pre-Defined Payments.
    6. Press “1” for SADAD Biller or press “2” for Pre-Defined Bills & Credit Cards.
    7. Follow the rest of the instructions to settle the bill, and make sure to select your credit card number so the bill amount is charged to your credit card account.

 Are there any excluded billers from this service?

Yes, there are some excluded billers from this service:

  1. Ministry of Interior Payments are excluded from this service and can only be settled using the debit card (e.g. traffic violations).
  2. SABB Payments are excluded from this service and can be settled directly from the debit account (e.g. EasyBuy instalments).
